A wood has grain of wood. And the coniferous grain of wood is recognized clearly. Generally, coniferous grain of wood has two parts.One is early wood, and one is late wood.
The early wood is soft, and the late wood is hard. Therefore the early wood decay fast, and the late wood is hard to decay.
In a mountain We can watch a conifer cut down which only late wood was left for.
This work is the cedar which decayed which I picked up in a mountain. It is like a bone.
